. . . whaaaat is a haberdashery? It’s a shop that sells sewing notions: buttons, thread, trims, etc. Basically a fabric store without the fabric.
There is a tiny haberdashery across from the supermarket in the mall. While they don’t have cotton thread (urgh urgh urgh) they do have buttons, zippers, and a 50% off discount basket of yarn. So guess what I bought?
