Patch Batch #4: Bee Kind

This isn’t so much a batch at all, since there is only one patch in it! But this was a bigger one, 6×6″, and therefore it took a bit more time than usual.

The design is taken from a print in Bonnie Christine’s fabric collection “Sweet as Honey.” I saw this fabric a while ago and fell in love. (Unfortunately I fall in love with way too many fabrics way too often.) Yesterday I found it on clearance. While debating whether to buy it or not (which I did in the end), I decided to interpret the adorable (possibly frightening?) little (larger than life) bee in embroidery/applique on the baby’s quilt.

Today I added “Bee Kind” at the bottom, because what good is cutesy embroidery without a cliché pun? (Click to enlarge)
